This 2-day workshop is designed for individuals who are interested in learning about beekeeping and would like to start their own beekeeping operation!

In this course, you will learn about the role of honeybees in pollination and ecosystem health, the basics of bee biology and behavior, and the different types of honeybees and their characteristics.

You will also learn about the essential equipment for beekeeping, the different types of beehives, and how to choose the right one. Additionally, you will learn about protective clothing and the tools needed for beekeeping.

Cost is $199.99 plus HST.

Protective clothing will be provided for the duration of the course.
